Glenhyrst Art Gallery's Newest Exhibit:  Unnatural Order March 26th — May 22nd, 2022
Brantford's Glenhyrst Art Gallery presents Unnatural Order by Bellville artist, Megan Ellen MacDonald.
"In this exhibition, artist Megan Ellen MacDonald uses symbolism found in historical still life and landscape painting to examine themes of femininity, power, and beauty… Her glowing colour palette is influenced by the fantastical visions of science fiction, the loud aesthetics of pop culture, and the sentimentality of kitsch… The result is a super-modern interpretation of contemporary painting, vernacular life, and the land we tred on."
This exhibit is free entry and open Tuesday-Friday, 10am-5pm, Saturday & Sunday 11am-4pm. Visit the Glenhyrst website here.
